Works on paper explore processes of building texture in combination with embedded mark making. Oil paint printed papers, and graphite.
These techniques continue developing investigations into pictorial language. I explore between the dichotomy of temporary and permanent approaches, balance and instability, color and materials in which searching forms remain unresolved.

Nicole LeBoutillier is a Canadian artist.
Her work delves into representations of place pulling from practices of mapping using drawing and collage techniques. Through the processes of accumulation and assembling objects, on one level the work is a reflection of her physical environment and on another a distillation of personal experience.
She is known for wall installations of assembled shapes and abstract drawings which employ mixed techniques using combinations of drawing, collage and colour.
