This map was created in a temporary studio cubicle that had a succession of artist users. Over time the wall surface became texturally built up with a unique topography of scratches, holes and layers of paint. Working with leftover screws and staples freely provided for communal use in the studio space, I structured  the map off of the crease between two plywood panels . The image can be accessed both visually and through its tactile qualities.

A Tactual Map is designed for people who are blind or have impaired vision.
