This series of aerial drawings are of urban and rural topographical features seen from above looking down below. No longer able to travel frequently or easily by air, yet able to access Google maps while working in my studio I infuse the drawings with imagined color and texture wondering when travel will once again be filled with a sense of joy and wonder.
